I've just about finished my 3D Modelling module at university. This is some of the work I have done this semester. (Sorry for the random layouts, they are the presentation slides I posted up for marking}
Dominance War Character Challenge:
Modelled in 3D Studio Max and rendered using the Xolioul Shader.
The Splash Damage Environment:
Modelled and Rendered in 3D Studio Max. Texturing all done in Photoshop using photo stock images from cgtextures.com etc
Had so much fun with this module! I really love modelling so was cool to get to focud on just that for a while =)

Summer Uni Project Work
I'm doing a University summer project to contribute to my third year. It's a concept for a web/tv series called Siphonheads, which is being run by the guy who created Holby City?
Anyway these are my concepts for the main character called Belial. The actress playing her is Ciara Janson from Hollyoaks I believe (hence her photo reference)...
This is my developed concept. There are a few others before this but they didn't scan well so left em out. This is going to be the final painting of her on the right with a few outfit alterations.
This was my first speed paint of a character called Belial. Just a practice run to show my style and level of skill with colour and lines.
Spent a lot of time refining the face, then roughed in the rest of the colour and shade as it became too tedious for a speed paint.

Aviation Concepts Design
Another module hand in for University this year of a crazy random aircraft thing.
These are the final 3D renders. I don't have the final concept sketches on me, but will upload them as soon as I can.
Rendered with Mental Ray, in Max. Used the Arch and Design materials for base texture and added a diffuse map for the decals, and a bump map for the rivets and things.
Background environments are photos, shadows and effects added in Photoshop =)
Body Modelling final Renders
I finally have it completed! My 3D Model for Body Modelling:
I'm really happy with how it came out except for the seams that somehow popped up again after I already fixed them twice D: grr.
Gonna learn how to rig and pose her so hopefully can get some nice renders from that!
Another concept piece for my character Kayos for Body Modelling at univesity.
Just a quick speed paint again, using a photo for reference of angle.

I have been working on...
My most recent work. Quick speed paint for 3D Body Modelling of the character I am working on.
Some eye paintings for a daily class activity that has been set up.
Looking at skin tones and shapes of the eye in different expressions.
Very pleased with the outcome. It was refreshing to be able to focus on something small and concentrate on things you would normally overlook when rushed.
2nd Year University Work
One of my final images for Matte Painting. 50/50 photos to personal painting.
My first ever matte painting so I was very happy with the outcome although there are quite a few problems I will need to work on for future matte painting work.
From last semester, this was my final render for Facial Modelling.
Outcome not what I wanted due to the lighting but a good learning experience for modelling and texturing.
This is my Zbrush stage for Facial Modelling. Base mesh was modelled in 3D Studio Max to look like myself.
Texturing was then done in Zbrush. The idea was to transform your face into some kind of zombie.
Personal Work from 2009
Personal work for a profile layout background for a website.
Couldn't find the save with all the added information and boxes so bits of blank space :x
Building on from the colouring style used in the previous image, taking it to a more realistic style.
Really enjoyed painting in the tattoo. Something I have never done before but was pleased with the outcome. Another image painted for a friend.
Gift art for a friend of her character. Playing around with a different way of working with layers and colouring.
A piece I did for my boyfriend at the time <3
Quick rough painting playing around with textures and coloured lighting.
1st Year University Work
This was a character concept for one of our first design briefs about a politician.
I started with thumbnail silhouettes and developed him into a final character.
This is the final greyscale render.
This was for first semester. Our first modelling assignment to learn using 3D Studio Max.
All modelled and textured myself with photos and scanned images.
One of my final models for Comparative Physiology.
Modelled and textured myself with the use of 1 reference photo.
